We build rule-based trading logic and sell it outright. Every rule is mechanical and written down before you buy. Each system goes to a single buyer, with the copyright assigned to you in full.
We are not registered with SEBI in any capacity. Nothing here is investment advice or a recommendation.
See what's availableHow it worksWhen a system is sold it is withdrawn from this page permanently and the copyright is assigned to the buyer by deed.
See the systemsEach listing describes what the system does and what you receive. Historical testing results, assumptions and limitations are disclosed privately to a qualified buyer after a mutual non-disclosure agreement — not published here.
Six steps from first email to assigned ownership. Timelines vary with the buyer's own review process.
You are responsible for how the logic is used, including any approvals your broker or the exchanges require before running automated orders on your account.
Options selling makes small gains often and occasional large losses. Any buyer should understand how this logic fails before considering how it performs.
Short option positions carry theoretically unlimited loss on the upside and very large loss on the downside. A single adverse session can remove the gains of many profitable ones.
Index options reprice on the open. A stop placed in the rules does not protect against a move that happens overnight or between ticks, and fills can be far from the intended level.
Every result we disclose is simulated on historical data. Simulation cannot reproduce queue position, partial fills, broker latency, or the decisions a human makes watching a losing position.
Logic is written against conditions that existed in the test period. Volatility regimes, expiry structure, lot sizes and exchange rules all change, and a rule set that suited one regime may not suit the next.
We do not place trades, hold funds, or monitor positions. Slippage, outages, margin calls, mis-configured orders and broker failures are the buyer's risk alone.
Short option strategies require sustained margin. Margin rules are set by the exchange and clearing corporation and can be raised without notice, forcing positions to be closed at a loss.
We do not publish performance figures on this website. Returns, drawdowns, the cost and slippage assumptions behind them, and the specific periods where a system performed badly are disclosed in full to a qualified buyer after a mutual non-disclosure agreement.
Those figures are simulated results on historical data. They are not a record of live trading and they are not indicative of future results.
We are not registered with SEBI in any capacity. We do not provide investment advice, recommendations, research reports, trading signals, or portfolio management. We sell software and documentation. Whether a system is appropriate for you is your decision, taken with your own advisers.
If something here is unclear, or your question isn't answered, email us and we'll answer it in writing before you commit to anything.
What this is
A written rule document describing the logic in full, the source code that implements it, the historical testing records, and a parameter sheet. Alongside that, an executed Deed of Assignment transferring the copyright in that material to you under the Copyright Act, 1957. You are buying intellectual property outright. You are not subscribing to a service and there is nothing to renew.
No. We sell software and documentation. We do not tell you what to trade, when to trade it, or how much capital to deploy. We do not manage money, hold client funds, publish research reports, or send trading signals. We are not registered with SEBI as a research analyst, investment adviser, portfolio manager or in any other capacity, and we do not carry on any activity that requires such registration.
No. We do not execute, deploy, monitor or operate anything on your behalf, and we do not connect to your broker account. Deployment is entirely yours, through whatever broker and infrastructure you choose.
Neither. There is a single price for a single transfer of ownership. We take no share of what you make or lose, and there is no ongoing relationship to pay for.
Each system is sold to one buyer. On completion the listing is removed from this website permanently and the copyright is assigned to the buyer. We do not sell it again, in whole or in part, and we do not offer a renamed or lightly altered version of the same logic.
No. Once a system is sold we stop using it. The Deed of Assignment transfers the copyright to you and we give a written undertaking not to deploy, licence, sell or distribute that system, in whole or in part, to anyone else. You decide who uses it from that point, including whether you licence it onward.
We retain one archival copy, not for trading, so that we can evidence what was delivered if a dispute ever arises. We also retain the general methods, know-how and experience used to build it, which we go on using in other work — what transfers to you is this system, not the ability to write trading logic.
Performance and testing
Two reasons. Publishing performance figures to the general public is the kind of activity that attracts regulation, and we are deliberately staying well clear of that line. More practically, a return figure without the assumptions behind it is meaningless, and the assumptions take an hour to walk through properly. You get the complete record, including the bad periods, once an NDA is in place.
Simulated on historical data unless we tell you otherwise in writing for a specific system. We will not describe a backtest as live trading, and if any part of a record comes from live execution we will identify exactly which part and over what period.
Brokerage, exchange transaction charges, STT, stamp duty, GST and an explicit slippage assumption. The slippage figure used is stated plainly in the disclosure so you can judge whether it is realistic for your own execution, or substitute your own and re-run it.
Yes, and we encourage it. After the NDA you receive enough of the rule specification to reproduce the logic independently. Buyers who verify the results themselves are the buyers we want.
You own it, and the risk is yours. We make no warranty that any system will be profitable in future, and no part of the price is refundable on the basis of trading outcomes. That is the nature of buying intellectual property outright rather than subscribing to a service.
Buying
It varies by system, and the margin requirement for each is confirmed in the disclosure. Margin is set by the exchange and clearing corporation, not by us, and can change.
Enquiry, mutual NDA, full disclosure of the testing record, a review call walking through the rules and one sample period trade by trade, written terms, part payment to reserve, then delivery with the executed deed.
You see the complete rule specification and the testing record under NDA, which is enough to judge the logic and reproduce it. Source code is delivered on completion, together with the assignment.
Once the testing record and rule specification have been disclosed, no. The disclosure is the product; it cannot be returned once seen. Anything paid before disclosure is refundable in full. This is set out in the Terms.
By a written Deed of Assignment under section 19 of the Copyright Act, 1957, signed by both parties and stamped. We recommend you have your own lawyer review it. Registration with the Copyright Office is optional and can be done by you afterwards.
Sometimes. Tell us the constraint you are working within — instrument, capital, margin ceiling, how much drawdown you can tolerate, how much screen time you have. If it is something we can specify mechanically and test honestly, we will quote. If we think it cannot be done, we will say so rather than take the work.
About us
A single independent developer working on systematic index options logic. The deed is signed personally, and you will know exactly who you are contracting with before any money moves.
Capital. Logic that works at one size does not always work at another, and a system that suits a larger book than we run is worth more to someone who can deploy it than to us.
Anyone looking for signals to follow, anyone who wants someone else to manage the trading, anyone who cannot withstand a long losing stretch without abandoning the rules, and anyone who would be deploying capital they cannot afford to lose. If any of those describe you, this is the wrong product and we would rather say so now.
Have a setup of your own that needs formal rules, historical testing and clean code behind it? Describe it and we will build it to the same standard as the systems above. It is yours exclusively from the outset.
Email is the only channel we use. Please name the system you are asking about.
What we are. AlgoStrike Labs develops and sells trading-strategy logic as software and written documentation. The sale is an outright transfer of intellectual property in that software. We are a software vendor, not a market intermediary.
Not registered with SEBI. We are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India as a Research Analyst, Investment Adviser, Portfolio Manager, Stock Broker or in any other capacity, and we are not empanelled with any exchange as an algorithmic trading provider. Nothing on this website or in any material we supply is investment advice, a research report, a trading recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any security. We do not manage funds for any person, do not handle client money or securities, do not place orders on behalf of any person, and do not accept any share of profits.
No performance is published here. No past or hypothetical performance figures are presented on this website. Any historical testing record we disclose privately to a prospective buyer is the result of simulation applied to historical data, is not the record of actual trading, and no person has obtained those results in live markets. Simulated results carry inherent limitations, including hindsight in rule selection and the absence of real execution, liquidity and market-impact effects. Past or simulated performance is not indicative of future results.
Risk. Trading and investment in securities, including futures and options, carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every person. You may lose more than your initial outlay. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions and for any losses arising from them, whether or not you use logic acquired from us. You should consider taking advice from a SEBI-registered investment adviser before acting in the securities markets.
No guarantee. We make no representation, promise or guarantee of profit, of any rate of return, or that any system will perform in future as it did in historical testing. No assured or guaranteed returns are offered by us in any form.
Your obligations. The buyer is solely responsible for lawful use of the logic, including obtaining any approval required from their broker or from the exchanges before deploying automated or algorithmic order placement, and for compliance with all applicable SEBI and exchange requirements that apply to them.
